Senior C++ Computer Vision Engineer
Assignment Description:
We are looking for two skilled C++ Computer Vision Engineers for an exciting hybrid assignment starting on March 1, 2025. This role is ideal for professionals with extensive experience in algorithm development and a passion for dynamic work environments, involving new product development, integration, and maintenance.
Example Responsibilities:
- Developing vision-based algorithms for offline and online calibration of systems.
- Writing and reviewing C++ code adhering to safety-critical standards in a Linux environment.
- Testing at various levels, including unit tests, HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop), integration, and vehicle testing.
- Driving product development from requirements analysis and concept development to implementation and testing.
- Handling support queries, engaging with external stakeholders, and addressing fault reports.
- Participating in forums and discussions to shape the product’s direction.
- Collaborating closely with the team to optimize the product and manage technical debt.
Qualifications and Experience:
Required Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in C++ programming, capable of writing efficient and testable software.
- Solid experience in algorithm development within geometric vision (e.g., multi-view geometry, 3D vision) or related fields.
- Familiarity with core software development practices, including version control, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Relevant education in fields such as Computer Vision, Robotics, Machine Learning, Physics, Software Engineering, or similar (B.Sc., M.Sc., Ph.D., or equivalent).
- A collaborative mindset, sharing ideas and working with others to find solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience integrating software into complex systems or products.
- Practical Python experience for prototyping, testing algorithms, or developing internal testing tools.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and frameworks.
- Experience in GPU programming, computer graphics, or parallel programming on CPU.
- Knowledge of Linux environments, Docker, and system integration testing.
- Experience with sensor and camera calibration, and tools like OpenCV or Kalibr.
