Python & Linux Software Engineer – Rapid Developer

We are looking for a Python & Linux Software Engineer for our client to join their test platform team. You will be part of a skilled engineering group developing the frameworks and tools that enable feature teams to test and verify software on hardware and in vehicles, long before cars reach production.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the functionality of the test framework for HILs and vehicles.

  • Work with Python, system/network configuration, scripting, C++ and Bazel.

  • Improve development tools for debugging, monitoring, and visualization.

  • Collaborate in agile sprints with high ownership and freedom.

  • Contribute to faster feedback loops for safer, smarter cars.

Requirements

  • Strong skills in Python (C++ is a plus).

  • Proven software engineering experience in design, implementation, and testing.

  • Proficiency in configuring Linux systems and large-scale CI/CD environments.

  • Familiarity with software patterns and structured testing.

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience working with Bazel.

  • Experience with HIL management.

  • Location: Gothenburg (hybrid/on-site).

  • Start date: ASAP

  • Contract: Consultant assignment.
