Category Lead - direct material

We are looking for an experienced Category Lead to join our clients procurement team for direct materials. This role is key in ensuring a resilient supply chain and maintaining strong relationships with both global and local suppliers. You will operate in a complex matrix organization, contributing to shaping the future while delivering on current demands and projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and support categories within direct materials procurement.

- Ensure supply chain resilience and supplier presence both globally and locally.

- Collaborate proactively and agilely with internal and external stakeholders.

- Negotiate and manage commercial relationships with global suppliers.

Required

  • University degree or equivalent, with at least 3 years of experience in procurement, preferably within direct materials.

  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.

  • Experience in strategic and operational procurement activities.

  • Ability to drive and be accountable for supplier relationships on a global scale.

  • Collaborative and adaptable

  • Strategic and analytical

  • Results-driven with strong communication skills
