Regulatory Scientist– Product Compliance & Scientific Documentation
We are looking for a Regulatory Scientist for our client to join their Regulatory Affairs team in Stockholm. You will support product compliance, scientific documentation, and regulatory submissions in a highly regulated international environment. The ideal consultant has prior experience in similar roles within product safety, compliance, or scientific assessment.
Objective of Assignment
Ensure compliance with international and national laws, including REACH, CLP and EU TPD (The Tobacco Products Directive) by participating in product development and innovation project meetings and providing relevant regulatory framework
Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and submit regulatory documentation in accordance with applicable standards and internal procedures.
- Conduct scientific assessments and data evaluations to ensure product compliance.
- Support internal teams in regulatory and technical matters related to product portfolios.
- Collaborate with R&D, Quality, and Product functions to ensure timely and accurate submissions.
- Participate in continuous improvement of regulatory processes and documentation practices.
Requirements (Essential)
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in regulatory, scientific, or compliance-related work.
- Proven experience performing similar tasks within life science, chemical, or consumer product industries.
- Fluent in both Swedish and English, spoken and written.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with internal stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
Nice to Have
- Previous experience within multinational or highly regulated industries.
- Knowledge of EU product compliance frameworks and documentation systems.
- Background in toxicology or risk assessment.

Location: Stockholm (Södermalm area), 3 days/week on-site.
Contract: Consultant assignment
