The Role

We are looking for a senior Technology Architecture Lead to take ownership of the AVEVA PI data platform across multiple manufacturing sites (Cl, Ch, TI).

You will act as the technical authority for PI architecture and ensure it operates as a standardized, reliable, and compliant data backbone supporting manufacturing, automation, and operational analytics. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring deep technical expertise and the ability to guide cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure AVEVA PI is implemented, operated, and governed as a scalable and compliant data backbone.

• Serve as the primary expert across:

  • PI Data Archive

  • Asset Framework (AF)

  • PI Vision

  • Event Frames

  • Interfaces

  • Notifications

• Define and maintain PI architecture standards, design patterns, and best practices across sites.

• Support governance models, including roles & responsibilities, escalation paths, and lifecycle ownership.

• Act as SME in PI integration projects, resolving technical blockers (tag lists, interfaces, data flows).

• Collaborate closely with Automation, IT/OT, Manufacturing, QA, and external data integrators.

Deliverables

• PI architecture and high-level design documentation

• AF models, templates, and naming standards

• Technical assessments and architecture reviews

• Site onboarding and readiness evaluations

• SME contributions to RAID logs and project reporting

What We’re Looking For

• Strong hands-on experience with AVEVA PI architecture in manufacturing environments

• Proven experience leading multi-site PI implementations

• Deep understanding of OT/IT integration

• Ability to translate complex technical requirements into scalable architecture

• Experience working in regulated or compliance-driven environments

Contract Period: 1 March 2026 – 31 December 2026
Workload: 40 hours per week
