We are looking for a Verification Engineer AD/ADAS Cruise for our client to join their AD/ADAS verification team in Gothenburg.

In this assignment, you will work with end-to-end responsibility for verification of advanced driver assistance functions within Cruise and Ride modes on vehicle level. The team works with data-driven methods, simulation, and real vehicle testing to ensure the product meets customer and stakeholder requirements.

This is a role for someone who enjoys both the bigger system perspective and the detailed verification work needed to improve product quality and performance.

You will be part of a close-knit team working with vehicle-level verification of AD/ADAS solutions, with a strong focus on Pilot Assist-related functionality. The work includes understanding system behavior, analyzing requirements, evaluating performance, and helping shape verification methods and tools.

You will work across several areas such as fleet data, simulation, in-car testing, and statistical performance evaluation. The role also includes automation of tasks and system evaluations in a CI/CD environment.

Responsibilities

• Understand how software architecture components contribute to the complete in-vehicle experience

• Measure product performance and identify shortcomings to support further development

• Analyze product requirements and define suitable test and verification methods

• Develop and improve verification methodologies using existing tools

• Act as a stakeholder in development of verification tools

• Work with fleet data, simulation environments, and vehicle testing

• Use data to define methods for evaluating statistical system performance

• Extract insights from driving data using SQL and Python

• Automate tasks and system evaluations in CI/CD

• Collaborate closely with team members and Product Owner

Required qualifications

• Data Science, Statistical Sciences, Adaptive Systems, Engineering Physics, Mechatronics, or a similar field

• Experience in Python or C++

• Experience from development or verification within the AD/ADAS domain

• Experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Data analytics

  • Data science

  • Statistics

  • Embedded C++

Meritorious experience

• Broad understanding of coding, testing, testing on target, and requirements

• Experience from simulation environments such as SIL or HIL, closed or open loop

• Experience in productification or technical coordination

• Swedish driving license B

• Additional testing licenses such as T1/T2
