IT Support Technician – Onsite Consultant Assignment

We are looking for an experienced IT Support Technician for a consultant assignment at a production facility in the Netherlands. This is a hands-on, on-site role where you will support both office users and factory operations in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site IT support to approximately 240 end users

  • Manage and resolve incidents and service requests via a ticketing system

  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and infrastructure issues

  • Support and maintain:

    • Windows 10/11 laptops and desktops

    • Windows Server environments

    • Active Directory and user permissions

    • Printers, mobile devices, and telephony

    • Network equipment (switches, connectivity, diagnostics)

  • Deliver application support for Microsoft 365 (Office, Teams, SharePoint) and internal systems

  • Work with remote support tools (e.g., TeamViewer)

  • Enroll and manage mobile devices through MDM solutions

  • Collaborate with central IT teams to escalate and resolve complex issues

  • Maintain documentation and ensure compliance requirements are met

Requirements

  • Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware and software

  • Experience working with Active Directory and user management

  • Good understanding of networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN, IP, DHCP, DNS, VPN)

  • Experience with Windows environments (Windows 10/11 and Windows Server)

  • Familiarity with remote support and monitoring tools

  • Ability to work independently in an on-site consultant role

  • Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment

  • Understanding of operational technology (OT) or factory-floor systems

  • Location: Cuijk, Netherlands

  • Work setup: 100% on-site

  • Start date: April 1st, 2026

  • End date: September 30th, 2026

  • Workload: Full-time (5 days per week)

  • Additional: The consultant will be required to sign information security documentation and may handle sensitive IT tasks
