We are seeking a skilled System Engineer & Tool Owner to take responsibility for the development, maintenance, and future evolution of our traceability solutions. In this role, you will ensure stable operations of current tools while driving improvements in software traceability, compliance, and release processes.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary owner of the in-house requirement management tool.

• Design, develop, and implement new features to enhance functionality.

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and resolve issues to ensure reliability.

• Provide user support, documentation, and training.

• Contribute to system design and architecture of future traceability solutions.

• Evaluate new tools, frameworks, and methodologies for integration.

• Collaborate with engineering teams to align system design with lifecycle needs.

• Lead initiatives to support and enhance release reports.

• Define, create, and maintain development and release processes related to traceability.

• Support release planning, execution, and compliance verification.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

• Proven experience in software/tool development (Python or similar).

• Strong knowledge of traceability systems and software process design.

• Experience with release management workflows (e.g., Git, CI/CD, version control).

• Strong programming skills in Python (preferred) or similar languages.

• Knowledge of system design principles and software architecture.

• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice-to-Have

• Familiarity with compliance standards and audits.

• Experience with requirement management tools.

• Background in automotive or other regulated industries.
