Network Engineer [Try 'n' Hire]
We are looking for an experienced Network Engineer to join a global organization with a large and complex network environment. In this role, you will work hands-on with daily network operations, troubleshooting, and continuous improvements to ensure stable, secure, and high-performing connectivity across the business.
This is a try-and-hire opportunity. The assignment begins as a consulting engagement and is intended to transition into permanent employment with the client after approximately 6–12 months.
Your Responsibilities
Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise LAN, WAN, WLAN, datacenter, and campus networks
Perform incident and problem management, including root-cause analysis
Execute configuration changes according to established governance processes
Monitor network health and performance
Support network architects with implementation, documentation, and validation
Maintain accurate documentation and configuration repositories
Collaborate with security teams on firewall changes and network segmentation
Work with vendors to support upgrades and troubleshooting
Required Skills and Experience
Strong understanding of OSI/TCP-IP, IP addressing, and subnetting
Hands-on experience with BGP, OSPF, VLANs, ACLs, NAT, DNS, DHCP, and SNMP
Experience with Cisco platforms; Juniper experience is an advantage
Familiarity with Wi-Fi operations and modern wireless standards
Experience using Wireshark
Knowledge of monitoring and telemetry platforms
Basic automation skills using Python, Ansible, and APIs
At least 5 years of experience in a similar role and 10+ years of total professional experience
Nice to Have
Experience with SD-WAN, SDN, SASE, and CATO
Knowledge of Palo Alto PanOS and Panorama
Exposure to RESTCONF and NETCONF APIs
Cloud networking experience
Certifications such as CCNP, JNCIS, or PCNSE
Personal Qualities

Team-oriented and collaborative
Comfortable taking ownership and driving continuous improvement
