Logistic Project Manager (Consultant Assignment)

- Workload: 30 hours/week (adjustable between 20–39 hours/week)
- Contract Duration: 6 months, with the possibility of extension up to 12 additional months
About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Logistic Project Manager to lead and manage the logistics track for the client´s implementation project. This is an opportunity to impact large-scale IT implementation initiatives that significantly affect logistics processes.
As the Logistic Project Manager, you will take ownership of critical aspects of the project, including resource management, communication, risk mitigation, and ensuring deliverables are achieved on time, within scope, and budget. This role requires a proactive problem solver who understands business needs and is adept at defining requirements, proposing solutions, and driving change.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership:
- Allocate and manage project resources effectively.
- Drive project planning, execution, and monitoring within the agreed scope, budget, and timelines.
- Lead communication efforts, including project status reporting and cross-functional coordination.
Change & Risk Management:
- Apply project, change, and service management methodologies to drive quality and mitigate risks.
- Manage scope changes and stakeholder expectations.
Documentation & Results:
- Ensure thorough documentation of project processes and outcomes.
- Monitor and measure project progress, providing constructive feedback to the team.
Problem Solving:
- Resolve complex project-related issues.
- Understand business needs, define requirements, and propose optimal solutions.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, IT Management, or a related field (preferred).
Languages:
- Fluent in English and Swedish (spoken and written).
- Proficiency in Danish is a plus.
Skills & Competencies:
- Proven experience in managing large and complex projects, particularly IT implementations with logistics impacts.
- Strong understanding of supply chain, warehouse, and transportation operations.
- Expertise in inventory and order management systems.
- Proficiency in ERP Dynamics and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational skills, with a solution-oriented approach.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to lead a team and collaborate effectively.
Work Conditions
- Hybrid work model: Remote work allowed up to 2 days/week after the first month (100% onsite initially).
- Flexibility to adjust workload between 20–39 hours per week.
