Background

Due to increased workload, scaling initiatives, and upcoming launches in new markets, our client is seeking additional immediate support within their procurement organization.

Assignment Objective

You will join a globally active department responsible for Direct Materials (DIM) procurement within a regulated consumer goods industry. The assignment involves working in a dynamic and evolving environment with both global stakeholders and local/regional procurement teams. As the organization continues to take shape, we’re looking for someone who is confident navigating complex matrix structures, can contribute strategically to shaping the future, and also deliver on current operational demands.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the category for additives and flavours within Direct Materials.

• Ensure supply chain resilience and a balanced global/local supplier base.

• Drive sourcing strategy and supplier development with a strong focus on agility, communication, and negotiation.

• Collaborate closely with regional and global stakeholders across Procurement and other departments.

Requirements

Education & Experience

• University degree in a relevant field.

• 3+ years of relevant experience in procurement, preferably with a focus on direct materials.

• Prior experience in additives and flavors is highly desirable.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong procurement background, particularly in direct materials.

• Proven ability to work in a complex, global matrix organization.

• Agile, communicative, and proactive in approach.

• Strong collaboration skills and a hands-on mindset.

Languages

• Fluent in both Swedish and English, written and spoken.
